I need suggestions on how to test my wiring. The "Thru the Looking Glass" refers to the hole in the firewall where the Major Wiring Harness goes thru. While installing some Driving Lights, I noticed the old grommet was trash. Could the exposed wires be chaffed or cut by the bare metal edge to the point they make momentary contact and just generally FVCK with the whole system? I love wiring up stuff and making it work. I detest, trying to figure out why someone else's system isn't working. |

First, replace the grommet--don't know why that didn't happen when you noticed it was bad.--Then check each wire for fraying |
