I need the trim around my rear glass upgraded/ replaced. It is like t shaped and pressed in there now with glue. Should I caulk it? Auto store only had the stuff for your windows. I need the material that goes between the hatchglass and the hatch. Or a substitute. Either or. Any help greatly appreciated. |

hi gp, this is the next thing i may need to do. one lower corner piece seems to be 'shrinking' and opened a gap. have tried stretching it but it returns to a short condition. may try urethane caulk next though. |

You could drive your situation over to an auto glass shop, and see if they have something close on one of their various universal roles of rubber channel. I have had to do this with many cars. I will be going through the same thing in a few weeks when I re install the glass in the '93 EV conversion that I am almost done with. |
