Havent found ANY that will last any prolong length of time.
Me neither. So , I tend to go with the middle road and replace fairly often.

u can't adjust wipers only thing u can do it bend the arm down or up depending on what its doing
I know my father used to bend them a bit when they were squeaking/chattering. It was because they were not straight up/down (blade was leaning one way or the other). I wish this was what mine were doing because I've seen him fix his for this.

What does bending it up or down do? (not exactly sure what you are meaning by this)

Bending the arm down only puts more pressure of the wiper blade against the windshield and the added pressure sometimes makes a better wipe.

I bought a bunch of off brand wipers from Dollar General. They were on the markdown aisle and I think I paid a buck fifty per blade. All sorts of lengths. Heck, for that price I bought about 15 and still have plenty.
What I do... I tried expensive ones couple times, it was cheaper to change out cheaper ones over a period of time..

I got a pair of bosch icons . There was a rebate through autozone and also through bosch. Ended up costing me 10 bucks for a pair. They are still working. This was 4 year ago. Cleaning the edge helps prolong the life
