hey, just bought a used 96 Geo Metro LSI for my son. It has 149000 miles, and it was missing the injector. It was hard wired, meaning Lots of wiring was not done correctly... However, I replace the missing injector, replace a MAP sensor, & I have left the negative terminal of the battery to reset the ECU...before we change the map, there were equal voltage coming out of the injector wires... Now that we changed the MAP sensor it seems that voltage is only coming out of one side the other side grounds, but the engine doesn't start at all... It has run becore but I don't know what's next... Am I am missing something? How can I tell if its the ecu? |

Can you post a picture of the wiring you think was messed with? That might help some. Did the engine run after you replaced the injector? |

I'd put the old MAP sensor back on and see if it starts |
