What is the easiest way to remove them?

The decals are ick on the '91. I've tried using a razor blade scrapper but its taking the paint off too.
What about a heat gun set on low?

Heat gun on low is the best way with plastic scraper.

:+1 Heat gun. Just don't go wild. :bananaburn You can remove the thick, black, door guard, if you want, the same way. :gamerz Put the razor blade away. :oshit

Snag you a heat gun from China Freight in town, set on low & keep it moving while using it. Don't stay in one spot. If I wasn't tied up this weekend I'd bring my gun over & we'd do it. We need to get together sometime anyways. Lol

That is for darn sure.

I got a heat gun from Lowes - used it when I re-wired the stereo in the Swift.

I'm thinking about getting the '91 repainted. Body is fairly rust free and a pearl white would look nice.

These eraser wheels rock.

This sticker was so hard, that I could not even get it with a razor blade. It felt like a license plate decal. I have used these on all kinds of graphics and pinstripes during my time in the body shop, and these seem to be industry standard.

Awesome, evmetro.
How soon can you pack that up, and the air compressor and the hose and ship it out to Virginia?

I use those eraser wheels too, in my regular drill. Inexpensive and safe for painted surfaces.

Funny that you asked that... I actually packed up all my tools and trucked them OUT of Virginia. It will be a long while before anything goes back that way... I think I remember seeing a similar wheel at harbor freight the other day, and yes, you can just put these on a regular drill. Best of luck to you.

The heat gun didn't work so I'll look for an eraser wheel this weekend.

3m makes one too. I'm not sure who makes the best/cheapest but they all seem to work. I bought mine from a local paint store because I couldn't wait on shipping...

I always use a heat gun and plastic scraper to remove the decal, then I use WD-40 to remove the glue. Just spray on and let it sit a few, then scrape off with plastic scraper.
