Hey everyone,

I am new to the Geo crowd, but have been an admire for some time. I recently purchased a 1991 Geo Metro and I am going through maintenance checks and fixing things. I have an oil leak on the driver side of the engine. I have tried to replace the distributor O-ring already, but the leak is persisting. I check it every time i run her. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I am about to purchase an engine gasket kit, but I am wondering what the gasket is that is passed the distributor so that I can order that one. Please help. Thanks!

I found the culprit but looks like the housing for the bolt is cracked as well. Anyone know what this gasket's name is?

Maybe it's just the angle of your picture or the pics in RockAuto but theholes look different to me, symmetrical on the engine, asymmetrical on the gasket :dunno . Anyway there is one on eBay called the Distributor Housing Gasket: Search 1991 Geo Metro Distributor Housing Gasket ~$7.50.

As for the crack, maybe some JB Weld and filing it flat. :dunno Or it may be a moot point with the right gasket.

Oh, to answer your question, you can name it whatever you want. http://www.thenewparentsguide.com/most-popular-baby-names.htm ;)
