I've got one already overhauled and ready to go, as long as it's for a manual transmission model. The throttle switch is installed and properly adjusted. All you'll have to do is put it on and adjust the idle screw, as required. Send me a PM.

rebuild the tbi unit? why? regardless, if you want to do it, it depends on how deep/cheap you want to go. what i would do is take off the fuel pressure regulator cover, inspect the diaphragm, if its whole, and the sealing surface isnt rusty/pitted, clean, and reassemble. if its not right, get a fuel pres reg kit. the other part is the injector. that one you kindof have to test on the car before you start all this. have someone start the car while you look down into the tbi with a flashlight (air cleaner assembly off, of course). if you see a nice, clean, cone of finely misted fuel, injector is good. if it looks lopsided, or large drops, or whatever, you can either use some fuel injector cleaner to try to clean it up, remove the injector, and send it off to have it cleaned, or buy a rebuilt one. the last option can get quite expensive for a geo, while the former is only somewhat expensive. my best luck has been with just grabbing a new one from a junkyard. they dont seem to gum up often. the other potential issue with an injector is leakage. have someone turn the key to run, but not start the car, while you look down into the tbi. if you see any fuel dripping, 99% of the time, you need new o rings. honestly. replace the o rings anyway though. its cheap insurance. i had one fail, and because the tank on these tends to pressurize when the car is sitting, it filled up the intake manifold and cylinders with gas. was wondering why it wouldnt turn over. hmmm...but as i mentioned at the beginning, its not worth messing with unless you have reason to believe something is wrong. ive had to run a few from a junkyard for various reasons, and out of probably 5 injectors, and 3 whole units, not one of them had anything wrong (neither did mine, funnily enough, but i was running low on ideas for why my car wouldnt run)

ok, that is low. i would recommend checking the fuel pressure before you mess with the regulator. and then make sure the injector isnt leaking, and the spray pattern is clean. if those all come out good, your problem is elsewhere
