you would be better off collecting that solenoid from a junk yard. the new ones run about $90 at the cheapest and have 2 supercession part numbers.

Thanks for the info. I forgot about that. I found one in my spare parts box i bought a year or so ago when my blue car had EGR problems. My EGR was just clogged and I didn't need it. Thank god for spare parts.

I have been noticing that even auto parts stores aren't keeping even hoses and stuff like that in stock anymore. Time to start stock piling extra parts for the metro.

As promised here it is. Hope it will load into photobucket.

Only had a couple of issues. Forgot to plug in the crank position sensor.

Posted Image

Found it. What is it doing up there and how did I forget that?

Posted Image

Got it plugged in and bolted down.

Posted Image

Runs better now but the check engine light is on.

Grabbed my ultra gauge out of my other car to check the codes. At first it didn't show any and then the screen kinda reloaded itself and it showed codes PO113 and PO335.

Posted Image

Did notice a small leak of coolant while the engine was warming up. If you look close the leak is coming from the bolt hole. Not much but that needs fixed. Can't remember ever having a bolt hole leak before. Any suggestions on how to stop the leak?

I'll have to look up the codes after I get back from my moms if you guys don't beat me too it.

WOOOOO HOOOO ! TED is alive! :rocker :D :cheers

The frame rate on the cam is not ultra fast so it makes the engine look like slow motion, see the belt flap flap flap flap flap. I assume it's the camera/upload host, that gives that wonky look :lol what did I say rurururrrurrurruuruuurrrrr VROOM. Looks really nice and clean super slick job. I see all the smoke on the manifold at around 1min just think that's all your finger prints burning away :rofl

No There is some play in the belt. I'll have to recheck the tension since it has run a little.

As far as the smoke goes I spilt a little oil on the exhaust and couldn't get it all off.

Looks like code po113 is P0113 - IAT Circuit Voltage High

Looks like po335 is P0335 - CKP Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Is the intake air temp sensor voltage high a reference voltage or voltage back to the ecm problem. I think I have an extra one to try and see if it is the sensor.

The crank position sensor probably was set before I plugged in.

I'll clear the codes and see if the light stays on and the codes come back.

Cleared the codes and they did not come back. So far so good. Got to order new axles so i can get this back on the ground and see if the trans works ok. I'll have to check the idler pulley for the timing belt. I think is make a sound like a lifter ticking.

Got my axles ordered today and should have them hopefully before christmas. Gives a little time to get the shifter hooked up and front brakes checked out.

Had some time today to mess with the car. Get my axles tomorrow so hopefully I will be able get this thing on the ground and moving.

Did a compression test on it just to see where it is now for future checks.

I can live with that for sure.

I let the engine warm up before checking the compression.

Got a little oil leak coming from distributor housing. Can't remember if I changed the oring in it or not.

Thanks Mythstae.

It's not broke in yet but I doubt it will go up much.
