Payments kill me when I get a screwed up month, but then again breakdowns on an old car can be :shtf , at the most inconvenient times
Yeah that can stink no doubt. That's why I like public transit. It's slow (3-4x as long as driving) and tiring to use but it's a lifesaver and actually more convenient if a half decent system is in place where you have huge volumes of traffic and expensive parking. (Downtown Seattle costs about $5/hr for parking). For short distances (under 10 miles), a car is better, even necessary unless you want to spend 2 hours going to two stores that are 4-6 miles away.

Thin the herd? I have cars hidden all over the place from family and wife. 14 total but some of them are parts cars! that is how I justify keeping all of them. and having 2 shops and over 38 acres to hide them on helps! Donating to the church is a good idea!
I swear I want to be just like you when I grow up bro seriously.

I soon will have like 9 vehicles and as long as I do something with them the wife could care less. I don't have property to hide them but i 'm working on that.

My stable will include
94 metro
89 swift
93 metro
99 Town car

(For seen vehicles)
87 sprint turbo
98 Ram 1500
Motorcycle from a close friend
2016 Maxima
And some random beater from cl to get my ass to and from work...ya know a car I won't cry if it gets into a wreck

Good bye

I have given a car to needy friends a couple times. If the car is in good shape, they are well received and appreciated.
:cheers

Thanks for the outlet. At the end of all this, bottom line - I do not want any car payments.
Oh, you know you will always get opinions on GMF if you use us for your outlet. :rofl

Who are you making payments on? No car payments at all right now
Who costs the most to insure? Probably the full coverage on her Fucus.
Who's not pulling their weight in the herd? The Fucus
Who's not displaying "herd mentality" and not displaying herd values? (Why I'm not working for local the #1 manufacturer :rofl )
Heck, I don't know, the only cars that talk to me are the metros

Thin the herd? :rofl
We have 4 cars and 8 bicycles and tricycles.
I right now have 5 cars and 1 motorcycle, 2 dirt bikes (both which are not running right now).

Told wife that if she found a new job that paid her enough for her to afford to make a car payment we would trade in both the Fucus and the Dakota.
She says she does like driving the '99 Metro - we'll see how long that lasts when winter shows up.
