Per request on the GMF facebook page, here is a new thread dedicated to a piece written in the Detroit News to be headlined in case anyone missed it. HenryEPayne wrote a very nice article and gave a shout out to the Geo Metro community. BIG THANKS to HenryEPayne for taking the time to meet me and compare 20 years of technological advancement of our beloved 3 cylinder engine.

LOL! It is quite buzzy. I even warned him before he drove it. The rear seat is removed due to so much rear wheel well rust and water getting in, so it's much louder than it should be. The rear seat really cuts down on road noise.

Should have compared it to a Suzuki Swift GT... not even turbo or the pontiac fire fly turbo 3 banger. Would have been much closer a comparision...... But a friendly review.

I'm getting high 40s MPG with my four cylinder 5 speed Metro. And its pretty smooth too. Makes me wonder what a Metro would do with a late model motor swap.
