In my 1995 Chevy metro 4 dr 1.3L 5spd, Accelerating up to freeway speeds if i lift off the gas too fast i get a jerking motion which i believe is the motor mounts. Rock Auto has motor mounts available to me is it worth it to replace all the mounts(2 engine and 1 trans)? Or is there a way for me to test which mount is causing the jerking motion?

It is anything in the car that absorbs energy in the driveline. It could be the springs in the clutch, engine mounts. What I did was remove all my mounts and fill them with pourable urethane kit - which helped.

However even with stiff mounts there is still jerking.

I have still to upgrade to a performance clutch but I'm pretty sure the pulsing is the springs absorbing and releasing energy.

my clutch literally just exploded ha.. in the process of tearing the trans out right now. May just try to replace them as they are only $50 for all 3 and will have the bolts removed anyways i will further inspected them when i get closer
