Hello Everyone, After a long hiatus and way too much life drama my 92 Geo Metro is running with a good engine and passed California smog. I am so happy. Much cheaper than a 1994 ford ranger. I was at the Ventura, CA meetup about 2 years ago. My pictures are on this site somewhere. anyway $36 to fill up and will be driving Tuesday after getting a new 2015 sticker!!! YAY!!!! |

Congrats. As much as I like having a pickup, a Metro is a better value for everyday use. I don't NEED a pickup very much in the long term. As you can see in my I am determined to haul furniture with my Metro! thread that I am pretty resourceful in cargo hauling. ![]() My motorhome can tow a uhaul rented trailer but it gets single digit MPG in the city and barely double digit MPG highway. That's when it's NOT towing. Plus I have to go untarp it, rent a trailer, return the trailer, retarp the trailer. to that.
