Stock looking sub system

Has anybody got plans for a small sub system that will keep things looking near to stock as possible?
I'm not looking for anything like an earthquake machine, just something to enhanse the sound.

Ideally, I would like to find a sub setup with a fairly flat response (no one note wonders).
I think an under seat mount would be best, even if a 1 inch riser is required.
My main driver is a 1993 Metro. I've tried some upgrades to get better sound, but I was busy with other stuff,
and the experimenting died out. Someone suggested 6"x9" in the back, which seemed good,
but I would like to go with a setup that has the trial and error taken out.

I just want a clean and louder sound with more frequency range.

Here is a good place to look, they have decent prices and compact stock looking enclosure, including some that will not take up too much space,
I picked up the JVC CS-BB2 Compact powered subwoofer for my XL7 that fit right under the seat although I don't think it would fit under the seat of my Metro...

The RetroSound SUB-8100 is only 3 inches deep.
I can't raise the seat too much, but that might work.
