Hi everyone.
My name is Chris and I am on the hunt for a Metro and figured I should get educated on them.
I am a long time car guy and know some of the basics of what to look for in a Geo, but more info is always better!
Looking forward to checking out the forum, learning some stuff, and getting to know the people here.

Thanks
Chris

Welcome. You might want to read thru this thread. We are having a NWMeeting in a month and hope you can make it.

If you cant drive that far maybe you can make it to Marysville and get a ride down with member bjetmech. If you need to do that then connect with him by PM at:

Cool! A whole Northwest contingent! Good to know there are some local folks to connect with.
Probably can't make this coming meet, but possibly one in the future.

Thanks!
Chris

Do it Yourselfer

Welcome to the forum. : ) main thing in my area is rust. Frame horns , wheel wells, radiator brace, and along both sides. If your looking for a car you can work on yourself then you've found the right place. If your searching for a metro consider getting a 5 speed for better mpg. A newer 1.3 will give you more power but a 1.0 for easier fixes and better economy. Finding one and fixing it's issues is much easier and cheaper then buying a perfect one. Hope this helps : )
