Anyone experience in rolling fenders? I know they say you can use a baseball bat, pipe, etc, but tje right tool makes it a bit easier and more uniform looking. I got a fender roller from ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/380996359935 and I already have a heat gun as well as an infraid heater and conventional heater I may use. This is to heat the paint to avoid cracking. This device looks similar to the one tirerack sells, but at a 3rd of the price. http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail.jsp?make=Tire+Rack&partnum=LIPROLLER2&ID=52 I got a set of wheels thats 7 inches wide vs the stock 5.5 and love them. They touch the edge of the tire to the inner fender edge on big bumps and bumps while turning sharp. Id return them but tire rack wants shipping for both ways and 60 bucks on top. Second they dont have a 10lb wheel in a smaller width. Plus think it looks cool to have rolled fenders, like the beginning of a wide body kit. Once I roll the fenders on the honda, then the sidekick anyone want sloppy seconds?

Hey found my post. Ok, I get it, roll it and got the t shirt. A little cranking will do you. You really need 2 people, one as a spotter. I just needed to push the lip over to the edge of the fender up under the tire well. I did it too much and actually pushed the fender area outwards. I cracked the paint on one side, but spray some over the metal to protect it. Tires dont rub any more front or back.

rolling the fenders on a metro guarantees that the wheel well liner won't fit. it'll look cool until the fender rots out from splash.
