Hi I am new to the group. My name is Mark. I bought a 1999 Chevy Metro back in July since I was driving about 700-800 miles a week. The Metro is 2 door, 3 cylinder 5 speed. It had 125,000 miles on it when I bought it. I have done some things to it so far. I put a new air filter on it, tune up including plugs, distributor cap and rotor. I changed the oil pan gasket, the timing belt and the crank seal. I dropped the gas tank, ran new fuel lines and added a fuel filter under the hood. I put new brake pads and rotors on the front, since it looked like the brakes were only wearing about 1/4 inch. I also put new wheel bearings and lower control arms on both sides of the front. I also put new inner and outer tierods on and had an alignment done. Inside , I put speakers in the rear to help the Pioner Super Tuner 3, since it had none. I put some front seats from a 2004 Chevy Aveo in it. They sit a little high, but are much better than the stock seats.
I am impressed with the amount of information on this site and am liking this basic car!!

welcome.

you say you "added a fuel filter under the hood". Hope it is not the cheap plastic ones. They are made for a carb system and will not hold the pressure necessary for an injector system.
