I ordered an exhaust bolt and spring on ebay, and got just the spring. Am I misunderstanding something here? The title of the as is "Exhaust Manifold Bolt and Spring Bosal 251-807"

Shouldn't I have gotten the bolt and the spring?

ebay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/261516427233?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

One would think. I got a set from Autozone and they were universal ie. after removing the manifold to get the broken studs out the threaded section on the exhaust bolt was 1/4- 20 with a locking nut.

the pic in your reference to ebay listing only shows the spring.----farther down it says order 4 more parts to make a 'kit'

I would go to the local autozone or napa

Seems to be a common Ebay problem with these parts. Several months back I ordered two "Bolt and Spring" sets from an ebay listing, and just got the bolts.

Called the dealership parts manager who was the "seller,", and he explained that the contract company they use to do the ebay listings uses some sort of generic listing and they often say bolt & spring when it is just one of the two. I nicely pointed out that the title was misleading (there was no picture of just a bolt or spring, or I would have asked for clarification up front), he agreed, and refunded me the cost of one bolt which covered about half the cost of two springs from Rock Auto.
