Below is a listing of the product that i purchased. WAGNER Part # H6545 {#BPH6545} Halogen; Sealed Beam [Wholesaler Closeout - Private Label Pkg. - 30 Day Warranty] i am willing to buy an expansive beam from local shop but i dont know if there is a problem with my lighting. Already cleaned and tightend all the Grounds connectors, and all the electrical systems work OK .. |

I spent a lot of time last spring trying to fix a dim right headlight which I finally fixed by running another wire from my battery. Do you have one of those inexpensive electrical testers that the handle lights up? pull off a headlight plug (I would start with the left) and stick the pointy end in all three terminals with the clip of the tester grounded-if the wiring is ok all 3 should cause the tester to light even if the key is in your pocket (I'm assuming your 93 is the same as my 95) check the wire color of any that don't light up-I also found out by playing around when I pulled out the left bulb BOTH lights didn't work but when I pulled out the right bulb the left light still worked-so if you buy new bulbs I would start with the left |

You could check your battery voltage with the car running and see if it is normal. I high voltage would tend to kill the lights faster than normal. According to google should be less than 14.2V. I think you should bite the bullet and buy a good light to continue the trouble shooting. |

Ok thanks for the idea and it does look like the issue. I tested the alternator and it throwing 18.5 v at battery terminals when the engine is running. What could be the cause ? Bad Alternator ? |

Voltage Regulator is inside the alternator, so the answer is yes, bad alternator. |

You said that the altanatur was putting out 18.5V. The fuses for the headlights are rated at 20, this is why they dident blow. Usely the head lights go when you switch from low to high due to the sudden incress in power. This is amplified due to one of your lights being burnt out. I had the same issue in my truck. Regulator was bad and the sealed beam headlights are the weak point. |

Changed the alternator to replace the faulty relay. No issue since. Thanks |
