It does work :), it's really just a face plate. I gutted it lol although I did use the fuel and temperature gauge from a newer suzuki tracker, because they were smaller then mine. They seem to be reading accurate. The tachometer is the one that can be seen in my project forum. I actually had to set it to 8cyl because the numbers are closer, but it's dead on to my surprise. The speed gauge is just the one from my car as well lol. To make it fit, 1. The two bottom tabs were removed. 2. Both bottom right and left corners had to cut at a 45 degree, ( the cluster is wider at the bottom then our stock cluster.) could go the route of cutting the dash apart, but I wanted to avoid that. That was all that I need to do. |

I didn't drive anywhere, but here's a start up and dash lights video. The regular speedo that came with the car is in the dash, I am running 195/60/R15 and it happens to be that the MPH is pretty close to being the KPH, as I live in Canada this is perfect for me. There are slight difference with the Canadian chevrolet optra cluster vs American suzuki Forenza. 1. It's kph instead of mph 2. 0-1/2-1 for fuel tank 3. 50c-125c for temp Other then these 3 things it's basically exactly the same. |

Haha there is no odometer, not because Its impossible, but because of looks. I mounted the speedo the tiniest but sideways, can't tell though because it's a circle. But I didn't want to have it crooked. But it should be possible to cut a whole to show the stock mechanical odometer. BE WARNED I spent a lot of time wiring in everything. I didn't cut any wires because I wanted to be able to reverse this, all I did for connections was push the wire connectors out if the socket and rap a extension wire around it, heat shrink around it and a male connector on it. On the cluster part I had a female connector. Plugged everything together, and then heat shrunk it together to prevent short circuits. Definitely NOT perfect, but it works and it was fairly quick to do. |

Like 85% of the time was wiring, so a lot of the time spent installing was basically wiring it in.

I'm still going down the rabbit hole, just need the parts I listed. My hope is that the digital odometer will still work. |
