The relays and direct wiring will make more difference than anything short of HIDs. And it's also a huge improvement in reliability.
Agreed, it will remove the stress on the too small tired wiring.

So I started off by getting the silvanias as mentioned earlier. Already made a difference. I just have to practice soldering again as I havn't done it in awhile. I want to do the relay mod too. I love HID, but hate it when people just do the plug n play without the proper headlight housings.

Or just pop in a pair of those hideous blue halogen overwatt bulbs with no regard to where they're aimed!

Lol hids can only be one or the other. If you put them in, take time to aim them properly. And people will notice you took time to aim properly and you're a good guy :) but if you don't they will flash you and think you're a inconsiderate jerk. Lol. Funny how that works. :p

I agree. I did that HID plug n play before. Until I was on the receiving end. Now my Tahoe has them, the proper way. I did the projector retrofit. I love it. Almost want to do that with the metro.
