I have a 1996 suzuki swift. I recently changed gauge clusters over, and I didn't plug the speedometer cable in but my ultra gauge (or scan gauge, can't remember) still was able to calculate my MPG. So it's getting a distance signal? I'm not sure how that works, does anyone have more knowledge? |

If you have an auto, it is in the transmission. All clusters have a speed sensor in them, but only the manual transmission ones use it,. The auto's have there own inside the transmission. |

So then would be possible for me to take the signal from it and use it in a forenza (optra in Canada) cluster I got from the wrecker? |
