Fan blower surging

I've noticed the blower motor surging up and down the past few days when I run the heater. Ideas?

Loose wire? Bad switch? Some kind of bigger problem? Thanks!

Does it behave the same way in all fan settings? If it surges in all settings, is there any difference in the frequency of the surging?

Is there any change at all with changes in driving conditions, e.g., when parked, when driving on smoother or rougher roads, driving at different speeds, etc.?

Any unusual noises from the blower (other than the surging)?

That sounds like it may be a symptom of a larger problem with the charging system. I'd start with cleaning the connections to the battery and all the grounding points in the engine bay. Check the battery and alternator health - got a multimeter?
