I was getting ready to answer your post, but then I read this...
Witch tells me you really dont know whats going on but instead you just decided to be a smart ass......
Which witch is telling you this? Does she know how to work on cars?
Seriously I dont have time for you smart ass replies. If you dont want to help that is fine but quit posting useless remarks. They do nothing but make an already BS situation worse.....

You obviously have no idea how much that particular guy knows about "what's going on" when it comes to electrical systems. Instantly alienating him, along with all the others who would have been willing to take their personal time to research the schematics in order to try and help you with your uncalled for childish comments for no good reason was your second mistake.

Not immediately apologizing to him for you taking your frustrations out on him and possibly giving him a reason to want to put effort into trying to help you was your third...

In case you were wondering what your first mistake was...

1DCGUY does not know how to read, and I am a smart ass for watching out for him. Does it sound like I am understanding you correctly? Best of luck with your troubleshooting. I won't waste your precious time with what little I know about chassis wiring.

You should have read and followed my PM...

There are several all star members who help every chance they get or who have volumes of knowledge.

You have just been less than friendly to two of them.

The types of responses you got and will continue to get are a result of that.

I'm a bit of an electric specialist myself, but I'm not going to participate either.

Good luck with your repair.

I have a 1990 not a 1991. Is there any major differences? I've been off work for 2 months because of my back and I really cant afford to buy anything unless absolutely necessary.

now,did you check the use with a dvom?
often on metros the fuses blow on the side where its not visable, also the plastic fuse box will melt and coat the fuse, or the fuse box contacts in a thin film of plastic.

you said you have power on one side......with a fuse in place you need power on both sides.

there is a ground wire in the trunk area.....i cant remember if its bhind a tailight or behind the plastic trim....

Yes I did use a DVOM. But i pulled the fuses all are good and nothing is melted. I did see the post about the headlight dimmer switch melting that one wire so I pulled the fuse box and found it was hot at one point. But it was still making connection. Either way if im reading the wiring diagram right that shouldn't interfere with the park lights circuit. I havent been able to get to the back paneling because my snow tires are in there and i got a perforated disk in my back. I can lift anything. I'm getting surgery on the 1tth and im not trying to go to the ER before then... Now back to the fuses. I know witch fuse controls the park lights. (15A left column 3rd down) If you are looking at it, my test light lights up on the left contact but not the right. Does this indicate a bad fuse box?
this is where dianosing by internet gets tricky......
with no fuse or a bad fuse, one side will be hot.
with a good fuse both sides will be hot.

assuming the fuse is good and installed the test light not lighting up can only be one of two things:
test light didnt make contact on right side of fuse.
test light didnt make good contact with ground.

of course, i may have misunderstood you......
You understood me right. But i even tried a new fuse because the resistance was wrong on the old one. But I haven't tried a jumper wire yet so i might do that next.....
remove the fuse box from your car set it down on your work bench under goodlight.
inspect that fuse slot carefully.
you said it had gotten hot before......is the contacts inside the fuse box coated in plastic?
something is preventing juice ffrom going across that fuse.

or there is an error in your trouble shooting method.
verify which one it is, correct the problem or mistake, and continue trouble shooting.

when I said "it had gotten hot before" I meant the dimer switch wire. The one that people have had problems with and would cause the headlights not to work. But I don't think this would affect anything for it is making a connection. As for the fuse its now getting power to both sides. I use the clutch peddle as a ground as i have no rubber pad on it. I know you are trying to help me but can you read and answer my questions? I have an idea what to look for but I can't proceed while playing twenty questions. Im not trying to be an ass but everyone i talk to has to ask me questions before I can get an answer. It really pisses me off because its like no one listens anymore. I'm not saying you don't because you obviously have read what i wrote. But I still need an answer.

"I have neither the time, or the inclination, to explain myself to a spoiled, self absorbed, mouthy child, who hopes to repair their car under the blanket of the very automotive repair advice this forum provides, and then questions the manner in which the forum provides it. All while insulting the very people who could help you if you weren't acting like such a dumba--. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way. Otherwise I suggest you either sincerely apologize to those you have tried to insult then patiently and respectfully answer questions while they help figure out your (car) problem, or take it to a repair shop and pay retail prices for the repair, or pick up a Factory Service Manual, and figure it out yourdamnself... Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!"

Speaking of twenty questions...,
If you are so smart, why are you asking for help?
If you understand the importance of listening, why don't you try it?
Did you hurt your back typing out tantrums like this on other forums?
Is the forum being punked... again?
Is this really a thread about the merits of corporal punishment for children disguised as an electrical problem?

Maybe an automotive repair psychic hotline would be more to your liking. I heard 1-900-FXMYCAR is pretty reliable.
