as a warning to all my peeps, do not click on these links or you will be inviting the vampires into your houses.

these links are rife with PuPs (potentially unwanted programs) which can be as innocuous as loading an unwanted browser bar to worse malware that can rob your financial data.

i disabled the link but left the post up so you can get used to seeing what they look like.

usually we get rid of them but i wanted to give everyone a warning on this new malware.

So, if in the past i clicked on one of these links, and now think I have a bug, how would you recommend I get rid of the bug? Take it to a pro or buy some off the shelf bug killer? Just asking because my playing of youtube video has sucked for about a year on my laptop. I think I got a bug but haven't had any success killing it.

Thanks for the head up on the PuP's!!

Malwarebytes anti-malware is a good program to try. They have both a free version and a paid version. Whats cool is that the free version is just as good at getting rid of crap as the paid version the main difference is you have to run the free version manually whereas the paid version runs all the time automatically.

They have a very solid history and I have used it many times and many friends and family use it as well. I hope they never get rid of the free version, its all you need as long as you remember to run it once in a while and keep it updated. I just scanned my computer a few minutes ago and all is well but it never hurts to check.

Here is a link: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Good luck! :thumb
