My 96 has a PCM that was made in japan. My 97 PCM was made in Tennessee. Anyone know if there is a difference in them. Could the mapping be different on them?

My question is this.....why would any metro parts be manufactured in the US? It should be all Jap manufactured and shipped to Cami. Seems odd that we would make metro parts.

One speaks English the other Japanese, when everything is plugged in they speak Geo, as long as they work that's all that matters:-)

It's not a really complicated board, didn't take a huge factory to make them. Of course, it could be a Japanese board in an American metal box. :P

Thanks for the link. I know they will both work on a 3 cylinder 5 speed, but didn't know if there was a difference between one from japan or TN. Since they are both Denso PCM's I doubt there is much difference.
