Kinda random, but am I the only one that calls our Metros a 'Meo Jetro' my parents had a handful of metros when I was growing up. I got the nickname from my dad. Anybody else?

I've not heard that one before. Might be a regional thing, or maybe they made it up just for you / them.

The term is a spoonerism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoonerism

Meo "J"etro......... no, never heard of it. BUT.......... Meo "G"etro..... absolutely!.......

See, what happened here is your dad swapped the first letter of each word( clever, but not Stephen Hawking clever) the M & G thus creating what is Meo Getro not Meo Jetro as you posted, that was the confusion here, your ears just heard it with a J ! :rofl :rofl :D :D

Here I thought you may have meant "Jetro" as in Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies. You know, like "Me is kind of like Jethro driving a Metro..."

I guess it just just goes to show you how subjective the term "rocket" is when used to describe performance. But I have to ask, what in the WORLD were you driving before the Metro? A Big Wheel with bad bearings? :D

Welcome to our good natured abuse forum. :cheers
