Are you referring to the clips that sit on the top and bottom of the caliper mount where the pads ride?

The inside and outside clips attach to the square peg in the middle of the back of the brake pads. There is a little metal finger arm on each side that are in opposition to each other and the tension each one has on the square peg hold it on. If your using and old clip sometimes the bends in the little metal pieces are not at the right angle anymore. I use two small flat head screwdrivers and push down on top of opposing fingers at the same time (as close to the square peg as possible). The claw like one goes on the inside and fits into the hollow cavity of the brake piston. The wing shaped one goes on the outside and slides over the caliper fingers. There is also two side clips that have two 1 inch tabs that fold squeeze in when you fit them into the brake bracket. The tab on these that is bent in fit into the groove on the back of the brake pad by the little wings on the pads. Only one pad has these, pretty sure it is the inside one. I did this today, but I don't have any pictures. Hope this helps.

Mine doesn't have #s 12,13,14,15,16.. Had the car since 99, just put second set of brakes on last summer.. And they work really good..

Thanks a million everyone. All help is seriously appreciated.
