Been listening to some B.B. King tunes tonight. A huge legend passed away Thursday night. B. B was 89. His music style inspired the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, & a boatload of other musicians. Sad times in Bluesville.

when i heard the news i had my own blues tribute. i had it bumpin in the car at work and at home that day. i sure love the blues. i am sad i never got to see bb king live, that was one thing i wanted with him doing a ton of shows every year i thought for sure i would get a chance but i never did. listing to bb king is what got me into the blues other than that i may have never found such an amazing genre of music. thank you BB king, your music lives on forever. |

I saw his obituary on the front page of my local paper. Brought tears to my eyes. The man is a legend. I got to see him in concert twice and both times he put on a hell of a good show. The Thrill is gone indeed.
