We have a 93 heap, and we're looking for a good driver. The eventual explosion of our Crimson Grenade led my awesome and Geo-loving wife to ask the following ( i was trying not to think about it): "Yeah, but if we get a later one, can we justify keeping <The Grenade>? for a parts car? Maybe we ought to get another one of those." I think she 's more into the earlier body style, and I like it too. I definitely like TBI more at the moment; the much-maligned Haynes makes it look much easier to deal with. I definitely like the idea of skipping all of the computer sensor complexity. We absolutely want a G10, and will not compromise on that. Of course, we're curious about the mileage as well. But I put that in the MPG/Performance area. |

Only part you can use from early to new is the engine block, head, transmission, brake booster, and other small items. Other parts will fit, but would be a downgrade (like seats, springs, hubs, etc) so not much to justify keeping the heap unless it's rust free. |
