I might have found a nice one ($2500 with 53k miles). It popped up on Ebay last night and was sent to me in email at 5:30 this morning. I only thought about it for 5 minutes before hitting Buy It Now. I guess I'll be selling my '94 3/5 but it will make me sad to do so. It has been a pretty good work car for the past 5.5 years and 44,000 miles.

The new car:

Looks nice! Like my Jezzabel.

There are chemical treatments for the bumpers, but none of them really satisfied me. I used black Plasti-Dip on mine, and love the results. I also used it on my door handles and window moldings as well, but my 97 is not in nearly the shape as yours. You found a great little car.

If you are serious about getting those panels back to factory finish, remove them and use bumper paint. It is generally more flexible than regular paint and will allow the bumper to still flex without cracking and chipping.

I would like to get the bumpers back to black but I have a few more pressing projects. The windshield is badly scratched, the CV joint on the LF is gone and the front tires need replacing (bad shimmy).

The flexibility and cheap price is what led me to the Plasti-Dip. Both bumpers can be done with two cans at about 6-7 bucks per can from Wal-Mart, and if you don't like the way it looks, peel it off.

TCP global is a decent company.

$11 bumper paint. I wasn't talking anything fancy haha. The thing I don't like about plastidip is it really only last a couple years in weather. It is great if you plan on changing colors and stuff, but I'm not sold on the longevity of it.

I've got five and a half, and a two car garage. Only the Tacoma sits outside - figure that one out...

Here is one and a half:

RMC - some nicer wheels and maybe slight tint to the windows would really set that car off. Either way that is very nice!

I'll give you $500 for it. :lol .....I immediately take off running as you go to grab your rifle!
