Grinding while turning right

Not sure whats going on with me metro, but ever since I have the CV boots and shaft replaced from the local shop here, whenever I make right turns, I can hear and feel something grinding. I have no idea what it could be. The wheels does not appear to be rubbing on anything, but it sure feels like it.
At a stop, I turned the wheels all the way to the right, and nothing was touching the tire.
Any thoughts?

Others have reported the same thing after replacing the CV joints and shaft. Turns out the product they bought was the wrong one and just slightly longer.

There are several lengths of CV jjoint, shaft.--such as--right, left, manual, automatic, 1.0, 1.3. Autozone is famous for mixing up the stock numbers, and other suppliers have done the same thing.

Damn things will go together OK, but if they are slightly too long they will bind up when turning a corner..........

Check the length of the new that you bought against the old one you took out.

Is this something that immediately needs replacing?

If you leave it so long that it screws up the bearing inside the tranny the tranny has to come completely apart.............

EDIT:.....If, (in fact), the CV set up is actually what is wrong....

Havent checked any of those yet, I dont really have the tools needed to check all of that. It really makes that grinding issue while turning right, its worse if I am turning right going fast and sharp, or turining right while going downhill
