I was wondering if anyone had any accurate data on production numbers for the Metro/Firefly/Swift/Cultus.
Tougher to find out would be how many were left on the road or salvaged.

I found some information which basically said that production peaked for a while (I'm guessing '90 to '94) at 100k/year.
Down to 88,700 in 1996; then down to 55k in 1997 and only 32k in 2000.
I believe this is the total production (all models/brands)?

Ideally,I'd like to know each year by: Hatchback, 4-door, Lsi Convertible, GTI, or whatever.
Does anyone have any information to share?

CAMI man,

Was the orange the primer and the dark red the final color of the same car (500,000)?

After E coat then a colored primer is applied then the Top coat .
In the picture that shows a Dark Burgundy Geo they were preparing for the 500,000 vehicle which was a Red Suzuki Swift .

To add to this thread we at CAMI Automotive in Canada alone produced 836,567 M cars .
Production for the M car was from Nov- 07 -1989 to April - 06 -2001 .
If you search CAMI images on the forum there is a picture of the hood of the last car signed by us workers at CAMI Automotive .
