I am replacing the front rotors on a 1994 metro 2 dr hb. I can't seem to get the hubs to go back on. WTF am I missing? They only slide on a little then stop. Just wanted to ask before I started to power drink my way through the end of the day.

I just had the front driver side apart today, used a slide hammer to remove and a rubber mallet to put back in, rotate and whack it, it will stop when it's down to the hub spacer.. |

Just my .02 on such limited info...check the inner CV joint to make sure the axle shaft( in side the rubber boot) where the joint mounts into the transmission has not been pulled out of its retainer...

The spacer between the bearings has probably dropped down. If you remove the tierod end and the lower ball joint you can spin the strut around and look at it from the back. Pull the brake hose out of the bracket on the strut, three nuts under the hood and the complete strut comes out and you can deal with it on the bench. |

It seems as if all I was missing at the time was patience. Went back 20 min later everything slid rite back in place. Then I went and rung one of hub bolts on the other side trying to take it apart. Thank You for the guidance.
