Bought a 2000 Swift, pulled the carpet (needed serious cleaning) and found this unhooked under the console:

No doubt it should be connected, but what does it control? My wiring diagram in my manual doesn't specifically show it.

Also, dangling in the passenger footwell is this:

I'm going to tuck it safely up somewhere, but what does this one control?

The first pic is the airbag module.

Anything with yellow-wrapped wires is related to your airbag system.
That is, IIRC, the main computer for the airbags.

The black thing might be related to A/C, but I'm not sure.

The black box is the a/c amplifier, clips into the duct just left of the glove box, you'll see 4 tabs that it will fit into, plug is on top, faces passenger..

might want to check you air bags, but if anything is wrong the light should light up on the dash, maybe they un plugged it because it doesnt work?
see if the light is burnt out on the dash.
air bags are nice to have in our little cars. :thumb
