So the wire that goes to my door jamb ripped out somehow and I don't know we're to connect it back together. Cut like two inches or so before the clip.

Are we talking about between the door and the jamb or inside the jamb or the door? If it's inside the door, you will have to take the door apart and get to the wire and push it out. If it's in the jamb same as above but you will have to take the plastic off by the floor and under the dash by the fuse box and unclip it. And splice it together color for color. The rubber boot is a pain it has the outer boot then there's a inner smaller boot. If you can salvage the whole door wire harness from a yard I'd do that. Much easier.
Good luck

I took a picture but I'm not sure how to upload it. I'm talking about the dome light door jamb switch. I have the switch just want to know how the wire is ran to the switch from the vehicle. I can't find we're the wire attached to it connects

I guess I'm just asking where the wire goes from the switch

You have to pull back the plastic back seat side panel, and you will find the connector about 6 to 8 inches from the switch
