Getting rid of my Fiat Abarth Keeping The Metro

Well I decided to get rid of my 2013 Fiat Abarth convertible. I love the car. It fast and fun but it doesn't get near the gas mileage my Metro convertible does and the payment and insurance have taken a toll on my pocket book. I use the Metro for work and around town so the Fiat has to go. Sad it's a neat little car but I have had my fun with it. The Metro convertible is a nice 3 owner car with 71,000 original miles on it. No rust and the AC still works. Not much power with the AC on but here in Florida you need AC.

If you want top dollar for it, check to see if a FIAT dealer will buy it.

When I worked for Fiat as a salesman, I would look at other dealerships with fiats and offer to buy. They would have a used one for $10k and they were struggling to sell. We could buy it and sell it for $13k all day just because the Fiat owners are a loyal bunch and only want to buy a Fiat at a Fiat dealer.

Wow, it's 2 years old and it hasn't caught fire or disintegrated yet? Fiat is stepping it up :lol

I've seen quite a few "base model" fiats around here missing hubcaps and door trim. Is that a common thing or what?

They are built very cheap. They feel cheap. Idk if it's common, but it doesn't surprise me.

Now the Abarth does sound pretty bad ass, definitely looks cooler and doesn't have hubcaps. They aren't ridiculously fast, but definitely quick for a small car. Fun to drive.....well, test drive.

Actually the Fiat has been a very good car. No issues at all. Now the Mini Cooper I had was just a unreliable piece of crap. I had problems with the Mini every month I owned it. After 6 months I had enough and got rid of it. The Fiat rides better handles just as well and my butt doesn't hurt after being it it all day like the Mini it was a real butt basher rode like a truck. It is no longer Fix It Again Tony Fiat is a good car

Got 70 MPG?

I saw an Abarth for the first time last week on my way to FL. It shares the same engine as the one in my car. Love that FIRE engine!

I hear ya. I have a 2012 Fiat (base model 500) and my Geo (and a Jeep, but the Jeep is in no danger of ever being sold). My daughter is driving the Fiat right now until she gets her own car because I choose to drive the Metro over the Fiat. When she does get her car, I won't need three vehicles. It's not the Metro I'm considering selling.
