Thanks silver. I was having a hard time following that. The San Francisco shooting seems to have changed the direction of FOX news finally on Trump's comments, which cracks me up. When the situation with Trump's comments first started, all the FOX anchors took the PC route on it and smeared him, but now that Trump is surging past all the other GOP candidates, FOX anchors are suddenly getting behind him. The timing of the San Francisco shooting seemed to be the breaking point for FOX, thanks to Drudge Report keeping that story active. I kind of feel bad for the liberal media on this one, since they have the burden of trying to cover up the illegal immigration problem while it is being blown wide open.

That guy has something like seven felony convictions and has been deported back to Mexico five times. He said he came to San Francisco because he knows it's a "sanctuary city".

:hmm If he considers it a sanctuary, I'd consider it anything but a sanctuary! A safe haven for criminals is not a place I would call home.

Just came across an example of media engineering a perspective for their consumers. I came across this site, and made a post from my conservative position, and it never showed up. Whoever is moderating that site is only allowing liberal comments to be posted, so that an average visitor to that site will see that most people frown on Trump. They post a few weak conservative posts to make it look legit, but you can see that one person posted "Meanwhile thoughtful comments are in the grey." as their comment, indicating that his comments are not being posted either. There are over 100 people who have marked his comment as helpful, indicating that many other people are not able to get their comments posted either.

Here is the site where readers are being manipulated by the media.

http://gawker.com/trumps-dc-hotel-is-being-built-by-undocumented-immigran-1716209836

The comment that I made was in regards to the sentence in the first paragraph that has "He has publicly claimed that the only things undocumented immigrants have to offer the U.S. are drugs and rape," I commented that I don't recall where Trump made this claim., since I know good and well that those were not his words.

It is always interesting to see how media engineers this kind of stuff.

@ EV, you are right. The media only want the message to say what they want it to say, they really have no interest in your or my communication. They own the "site" they ultimately control what is on it.

I have commented on the guardian site which is somehow hooked in with yahoo they used to let you just post and it would come up, now they review it first to see if it meets their PC message.

Many conservative voices are not in the media, I have seen the liberals are mostly into the liberal arts type stuff... books, magazines art... and media.... the media controls the message and determines what you and I and everybody hears and the way we hear it. They can bury anyone they want with hearsay.

While his statement is rude, it was not entirely untrue. He did make mention that their are probably good folks mixed in, but that there are plenty who are not.

I'm completely against illegal immigration. I also think that obtaining legal citizenship is far too difficult and is a huge deterrent. The process needs to be streamlined and reimagined.

This whole illegal thing reminds me of our impending prison system issue. We need to thin that crowd out somehow. I wonder how flawed a Judge Dredd style legal system would be. :hmm

I heard that NASCAR asked their fans not to fly the Confederate flag at races but that there were more than ever at the most recent big race. I was also out and about and saw plenty of flags flying. I probably saw more of them in one day than in the past several years. Anyway, I suspect there are enough people completely fed up with all this PC BS and censorship/banning of things they don't like or manipulating "facts" (Trump and the like) to fit their message.

This seemed to really backfire on them with Duck Dynasty. I am not really into "reality" TV but now see Duck Commander branded fireworks, wine, and many other items in addition to the clothing lines you commonly see. I am sure that anyone who still sells the rebel flag is now having a hard time keeping them in stock.

I sometimes come across non-electronics related items in the boxes of junk I haul away for people. One I recently found is a "Confederate States" commemorative Franklin Mint pocket watch. I am sure I could move this easily now although I don't know if I would be allowed to sell it on eBay. It is silver with a Confederate flag on it.

Hey, the immigrant killing in SF made CNN. I guess they can't cover it up anymore if CNN posted it.

Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your HONOR.

I don't think that 20 minutes and 20 bucks should get anyone legal status in this country. So I am not for streamlining anything.
What we need is security! The line being long at the grocery store does not give you the right to steal your groceries.

Being in this country is a PRIVILEGE, and people both here and abroad need to stop acting as though it's a RIGHT that everyone on the planet has.

No other country on Earth has borders this deliberately porous...

:hmm I didn't say make it incredibly easy. But it takes far too long and the run around they give you is ridiculous. Streamlined means cut the fat, not the meat. I'm not asking to take out the important security measures, I'm asking to take out all the BS.

Also, isn't it a right to be live here if you were born in the states? They can't deport the child of illegals if they were born here. That sounds like a birth right to me, not a privilege.

To what 'citizenship BS', specifically, do you refer?

A child of illegals...for reasons that mystify me...is a US citizen if they were born here. Though the Constitution says "born in the United States AND subject to the jurisdiction thereof." I mean, the Founders certainly did not mean to include children of enemy soldiers born on US soil while their fathers fought against us, did they? Our courts, in their never-ending quest to destroy the foundations of this country, have interpreted that part out, and we are paying for it now with the "anchor baby" phenomenon.

If the child can stay, let them stay, be it with legal relatives or what have you. But the parents should be deported. Or, they can take the child with them to their country of origin and the child can return as a US citizen when they are of age and able.

It pisses me off that people break into my country and have children then start claiming victimhood to the US government when their family unity is challenged because THEY BROKE THE LAW.

No other country allows that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever dealt with the federal government? I don't have specifics on becoming a citizen because I've never done it, but any time I've dealt with the government there is a huge run around and it is overly bloated with worthless transactions and protocol. If you really want to me to research it, I'll compile a list of everything necessary, common events that get the paper work delayed and get back to you; or you can use your imagination.

That seems to be an issue right there. The cap for legal immigration is no where near the number that are attempting to immigrate.
