Next new topic has to be something which will spurn riots and make some minority group across the country get into an uproar. My guess.........A south of the border national will come to an untimely death from a white dude via gun. Won't matter whether the white guy was defending himself or family from said south of the border national, but the action will inflame soooooo many folks that some sort of gun control will be initiated by the Elites.

Remember, the act has to make waves in all states, must be performed against a minority, and cause death or perceived racism. Then the mainstream media will jump on board and promote the virtues of the minority in order for the nation to bend to the will of the minority.

I hope gun control is a lost cause for them at this point but some will always try. I am amazed that Wal-Mart is still stocking AR-15's and pretty nice ones at that. Again, the media implied that the gun used at Sandy Hook was from Wal-Mart before the facts had even come out. Yes, it was the same exact model of Bushmaster Wal-Mart sold but wasn't from there once the facts became available. I am not defending Wal-Mart but obviously the PC people were ready to jump on them too. I remember that the guy who shot Gabrielle Giffords had been denied buying ammo a day or so before at a Wal-Mart so they couldn't be blamed for that either.

Here is another one about the Confederate Flag being removed at Ft. Sumter. Again, what needs to apply for it to be "historical context"? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/07/02/fort-sumter-nixes-all-confederate-flags-makes-decision-sans-historian/?intcmp=ob_article_sidebar_video&intcmp=obinsite

That seems to be an issue right there. The cap for legal immigration is no where near the number that are attempting to immigrate.
We have the right to regulate immigration...same as any other country. Immigration rates are often specifically cut in a down economy (to protect wages and the citizen workforce), and this happens EVERYWHERE.

"Yeah, lots of people want to come here. Get in line, fella...."

What will be the next touchstone? Everybody seems to get upset over the least provocation, especially if they are in a minority. What sacred cow has yet to be touched?
News last night showed pics of the MA and MI state flags. They clearly have images of Indians on them.
People are wanting the flags removed because of the indian images on them.

:shake If I were Czar, I'd say OK. If you agreed to become just an average, tax paying, American citizen, with no preferential treatment, or bias. :cheers But I'm not Czar. :smackface

I have spent some time out west on Indian reservations. Their two year old cars sound like the oil must be the consistency or tar or so low the lifters sound like hell. Similar age cars are sitting around with grass growing around them not running. Multiple generations of modular homes sit next to each other, in progressively worse states of repair. When one is too trashed to live in, they are given another one. I assume the cars are the same way.

My neighbors across the street are Indian and came up from Oklahoma to get away from all this. They didn't want their kids thinking they were entitled to everything.

Conor, the Indians are entitled to everything because the white man moved them off their lands, killed all the buffalo which kept them alive, and then gave them blankets which had zillions of fleas carrying the plague.

I will cut the native American Indians some slack. But they still need to learn how to survive in today's society or stay on the reservation and don't ask for anything from the government. If they live on their territorial reservertions, then they should find a way to make it work. I think their casinos are doing pretty well. Good for the Indians for that bit of entrepreneur ship! :thumb

Now I haven't been reading a lot of stories about the Confederate flag fiasco so I may have missed it, but I don't seem to remember hearing that people flying it at their homes having protesters outside calling for them to give up the flag or be dragged through the streets. I thought the real point was to get it removed from state buildings and the like. I'm sure that there are plenty of people that want it to go away completely, but just like all those other flags mentioned, those that are proud of their heritage will continue to fly it. I doubt that JM is nervous about someone seeing the flag in his garage and freaking out or calling the sheriff. I'm also sure that white supremacists will continue to fly it along with the Nazi flag as symbols of their ideal country. The hullabaloo surrounding this will pass when the next touchstone subject comes up and the only real effect is the flag will be removed from government locations and iconography, excluding war memorials.
Here is the definition of incrementalism, straight from wiki:

Incrementalism is a method of working by adding to a project using many small incremental changes instead of a few (extensively planned) large jumps. Wikipedia, for example, illustrates the concept by building an encyclopedia bit by bit, continually adding to it. Logical incrementalism implies that the steps in the process are sensible.[1] Logical Incrementalism focuses on "the Power-Behavioral Approach to planning rather than to the Formal Systems Planning Approach." [2] In public policy, incrementalism refers to the method of change by which many small policy changes are enacted over time in order to create a larger broad based policy change. This was the theoretical policy of rationality developed by Lindblom to be seen as a middle way between the rational actor model and bounded rationality, as both long term goal driven policy rationality and satisficing were not seen as adequate

Incrementalism is what is eating up our country. Once the Confederate flag thing blows over, the damage is still done. Wiki deletes everything about what the flag stood for, and writes a new definition for future generations to read. A great example of incrementalism is the meaning of the word "marriage". If you go into wiki and look up the meaning of marriage, you will see only the new PC definition of marriage, and the man and woman holy matrimony thing is reduced to a tiny blurb in the fine print at the very bottom. Holy matrimony and 1 man 1 woman was the meaning for as long as USA has existed, but now the future generations will not even be able to see the other side of the story.

One of the most dramatic examples of incrementalism that I know of can be found here : http://rense.com/general32/americ.htm This is what incrementalism does over 50+ years...

Casinos are helping the top few % get rich, rest are still on their own. Casinos are doing nothing to stop the US government handouts to the indian nations.

We spent some time in North Dakota. Watched one indian family get a new 14 X 70 trailer given to them by the government.

Within a week they had blocked off the very back bedroom and cut a hole in the back end so that their horses would have a barn.----within another week they had cut a hole in the floor and ceiling of the living room, lined the floors hole with rocks and had a nice fire going-----took them less than a month to ruin a brand new trailer.........Why bother with their crap

I agree about the incrementalism. Never heard that term but it is the old thing like "If you throw a frog in a pot of boiling water, it will jump out. If you put it in a pot of cold water and turn on the heat, it will get hotter and hotter and eventually boil to death."

Yes, the Indians definitely got the short end of the stick. There is no denying that but they need to adapt to society. I once watched a show on cops on Indian reservations and they had some of the craziest things on that show. Some woman was so drunk and was driving. She rolled her car over like 11 times and it somehow landed upright and she drove off and went many more miles before the cops stopped her. She threw two of her relatives out on the road during the accident. They were injured but survived. When the cops finally got her to stop, she had no idea what had happened to her family and seemed oblivious to the fact that her car was demolished. I have no idea how it kept driving but it did. I have seen similar videos of this same thing from Russia. Here is one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNQJI7ceV-Y The one I saw wasn't quite this bad but was close.

Well, well, well, if we aren't all Communists now! Dang, better just dig in because they will be coming for any conservative which speaks his/her mind before long. I've lived a long time in this country and thought some of the things I've noticed were "not quite right". Now I understand why. The Commies have infiltrated every aspect of American society. There is no going back from what I can see. We just have to realize this country is over and need to adjust to a new mentality. One that will kill you if you say the wrong thing. Just ask Stalin's people and the Chairman Mao's people. Oops, they cannot answer because they are DEAD, thanks to the great societies which controlled their fate.

It's time to become scared.

Lol, The new generations of society have no idea that not long ago Americans laughed at the possibility of any of those 45 goals actually being accomplished. With all of the incremental changes, the new generations probably can't even see that all of those 45 have been accomplished and what the significance of that is, despite the title of that page.

I just saw that Trump is leading the Republican polls. I would vote for him because he isn't afraid to speak the truth and piss people off like all the rest. People need to have a spine these days.

He is not afraid to do interviews with any media, and it does not look like he is afraid of anything.
