In the first picture what is the wire color? Is it a single wire with a clear or white connector end?

There are 2 white / green stripe wires in that location. Both go to the fuse box. One is the 70 amp battery fuse and it uses that type of end connector, but in your picture it looks like that wire is already there. The other is the 60 amp ignition fuse. check the bottom of the fuse box and see if both of those wires are there.

Usually only the ground wires use that type of end connector. That does not look like a ground wire.

Yes it's still the main battery wire that comes out of the fuse box. It is a hot wire. Just can't figure out where it connects to.

Is it possible that the wire color of the wire is black with a white stripe? If it is that would go to the A/C compressor. Check and see if there is a wire coming from the A/C compressor that is just solid black and is not connected.
