That was the worst tint job I have ever seen, the wing windows were in 2 pieces, :ermm: the rear hatch...I don't even want to get into it...We should have put that tinting job on the wall of shame :banghead

no more crappy tint!

soapy water and a black trash bag does wonders for this :rocker

Heck yeah! :rocker That's the very first thing I did to mine, too, at least on the back window. It had wrinkles all over, and was so dark I couldn't see a damn thing. Looked like :shit from both sides. I gave it a few minutes in the sun with a trash bag soaked in ammonia window cleaner, and it peeled off like cellophane, no residue, no damage to the defrost grid. :thumb

I used to wonder how all these people could possibly think that purple tint looked good on their cars. :lol :P
faded tint is so gross, i hate gross tint, i dont even like to drive around some one who has gross tint. :shake if your going to tint do the metalized stuff for the never fade protection.

Yesterday started the swifty on the zippy.
Pulled the front wheels off and the fender wells to get to the nuts on the back side of the bucket lights.

Pulled the buckets out and the top bumper skin.....And yes there is jack stands underneath :thumb

Soldered and shrink tubed the swift light connecters.

Cleaned the swift shells.. this is the pick of the dirty one....forgot to take pic after I cleaned them :banghead

After the swift shell cleaning and painting of the swift upper bumper skin....I'll be! they work!

As I was doing the break down and the putting all the swift stuff back on. Panzerjunkie was striping the red paint off the hood and prepping it for paint, looked like a pain in the ass and the way he was cussing at it :lol Decided to call it a night and let the paint dry on the hood.

Worked on it this morning. Didn't have time to take pics of the progress....But I finished it! Also repaired the radio harness it was hacked up and repaired the drivers window...It works better! The hood isn't perfect..I'll have to adjust it when I have another person...But we are having fun!

That's OK, glad they worked out! It was the least I could do for the hubcaps. Only 3 hubcaps was driving me crazy! Now I have spares incase I or another member loose one! :thumb
