I recently washed my engine down, after doing so it ran fine for about 2 KM i stopped at the local parts store to grab a few things shut her off turned it back on drove maybe .5 of a km and she started to run very rough, Rpms all over no pick up, eventually it died. so i took off my distributor cap sprayed it down with break clean let it dry completely then she ran fine for about 15km, The next day it was raining a lot she was running fine and then i drove through a puddle(nothing serious just a small road puddle) and then it died Immediately i have not been able to get her running again. I replaced my rotor and distributor cap due to the fact my rotor was cracked anyway. Still nothing i was able to check for spark from my coil and i have nothing. So i replaced my coil and its still not running. I dont have access to a code reader.

Any ideas? Also i should note it has been sitting for about a week now.

A scanner is not needed for a 95. Put a spare fuse in the diag socket in the fusebox under the driver's side dash. Turn the key to the ON position and count the blink codes.

Thanks! i will do that, I have discovered there is a short in my system. My ignition fuse keeps blowing. I have replaced basically everything that could come in contact with water while i was washing.

I tried the diagnostic fuse, and saw nothing no engine light or blink.

Check for injector pulse too. Have someone crank it while you hold a screwdriver, one end to your ear, the other end touching the fuel injector. If you hear it clicking while the engine is cranking, you have pulse. If not, I'd supect the trigger for the ignition/injector timing, (ignition module). But if you're not getting any engine light at all, assuming you're using the right slot, then it's a possible ECM failure/short. Just my idea with the information given so far.

My ignition fuse keeps blowing.

Which fuse is blowing? Is it the 60 amp ignition fuse in the engine compartment or the 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash?
When does it blow? As soon as you turn the key to start it or after it has been started and driving?

just the 15A fuse in the car. As soon as i go to start it typically it blows before it even turns over, sometimes it will start for a few mins (just sitting at idle) then it blows

to check for a code, you will need to watch the check engine light. start with the key off, and all accessories off. put a fuse in the "Tall" empty fuse slot. turn key to "on" not start. watch the CEL. it should flash in a series. for example; flash pause flash flash=12. 12 is code ok. start there.

water in the ignition is not good. have you tried to dry the distributor and coil? a can of pure silicone spray, spray the inside of the distributor and let air circulate, maybe a hair dryer. dry the connections as best as you can. any plugs should be opened and dried, maybe hit them with 'dielectric' grease.

did you use a pressure washer?

Here is the wiring diagram for the 95 15 amp ignition fuse. Unfortunately there are 12 different systems not including the cluster that feed off the fuse. Only thing I can think of off hand is to put a new fuse in and unplug the different components that feed off of the fuse. Turn the key on and plug one component in at a time and checking the fuse each time you plug something back in. If it blows with everything unplugged you have a short or bare wire in the wiring somewhere. Might want to start with the black white wire that goes to the alternator.

Okay! Its been awhile but i finally got more time to check things out turns out i keep blowing my ignition fuse. I have basically disconnected everything and it keeps blowing. :/ I dont even know where to look anymore i turn my key to the on spot and then POP. i have disconnected the single plug to the distributor, coil, the little black boxes, silver box, and power supply on the drivers side up top near the coil. I also disconnected the starter still blowing a fuse

Check the drivers side fender where the wires go through and also under the fuse/ relay box under the hood.
