I just used a old trophy topper.
The "topper" would be more 'project appropriate' if you would cut the head, wings and body in half vertically and paint the cut side bright red.
great idea! plus some blood running up the hood, like at speed.

went to the local farmers market today and I got some burlap sacks and spray glued one of them on my front bumper. looks kinda neat and now my bumper says usda organic on it :lol . can't wait for it to get weathered and dirty. now I'm trying to decide what to do tomorrow.

got a bit more done today. went to pick n pull and got a roof rack off of a kia suv and took
a bit out of the length and width and put in on. also added some plywood so that its actually functional.

when it was just the roof rack on there it actually looked like it was factory made that way.

we had to test it to make sure it was good. I now know it can safely hold at least 500 pounds.

just thought that I would share some more up to date pics. I've been working on it a little at a time. I might wait the winter out before I do anything drastic. :rocker

That's what I thought at first. It's kinda grown on me... I've got to admit, it's pretty cool looking.

Well, I gotta say, you have bigger stones than me for doing that to your car. I'll bet the neighbors hate you guys. :lol
I'm known for having an independent streak too, but not that big of one. :lol

How the hell do you get it to pass inspection? I lived in San Diego for years and they would bust my ass for having a cracked taillight let alone all that! Northern CA must not be as harsh as down south.

Very mad max-ish, I think it's pretty neat

All I can say is:

"CKY!!!"

What do you think of the "FALLOUT" games?

*Hint

I wonder if a mock-up of a heavy incinerator or 25 mm Grenade Machine Gun could be mounted on it?

It needs a vault boy on it somewhere definitely

I suppose that depends on your definition of "drastic". Pretty sure some would say you are already there...
