Hey guys I need help decoding my CEL 15. Its on my 94 Metro 3/5spd. It says 15 - ECT Sensor Circuit. But what is it and where is it? I could use a pic please. I have reset the codes, but this one is popping up on occasion. So I would like to know what I am looking at. Thank you in advance. Murf

This might help you:
https://www.google.com/#q=geometroforum+ECT+sensor+circuit
This one in particular:
http://geometroforum.com/topic/4091426/1/

EDIT:
There are two sensors by the thermostat housening. One is for the heat gauge, one for turning the fan on.
Another one on the intake manifold passengerside of the Throttle Body controls the A/C
One you are probably interested in is on the Throttle Body, kinda a square black plastic with two wires gong into it. ---- I might be wrong here, kinda guessing

OM has the sensor location correct for the pre-95. :thumb

I know, that's why I confirmed you were correct, because you were. :D :thumb

The "pre-95" was just added more for the benefit of those who aren't aware there are differences.

make sure you didn't make the same mistake as me (which came to light 4 years later) of counting the first "I'm ready" flash as the 1 in fifteen-I actually had code 51

Yeah Murf, you sure you didn't read it wrong. Like PT said--ya gotta skip the very first 1. so to get the correct reading you might be getting a 51 instead of a 15. ----

You might be getting a
"51" which is the EGR System & REGT Sensor Circuit
