Parts GTI When I first brought it to Panzerjunkie's house for disassemble. Hated to do it :'( but it was an east coast car :( rear end body rusted badly, floor boards in front were rusty also....Bummer. The reason I got it was for parts for my 93 :thumb

Panzer started the process.

I came over last weekend to finish the process. Beautiful day to do it :rocker

Cut out the radiator support.. strange no rust. It was very weird :ermm: floor rusted underside and back under the bumper into the gas tank but very clean in the engine bay :D

Still have a little bit to go.. rear end and the emergency brake. We got the motor and trans out.. It's still in the back of my truck :banghead Will take pics of the shell later on this week.

I could use that rear bumper. Got any idea how much it would cost to ship it to Maryland?

I can check, but it's probably not going to be cheap. I'll PM you the details.

Gotta watch out for those flying screwdrivers on the highway. Must've been terrifying when they hit that one. :P

Here is what is left of the red GTI, with one white Zippy hood ( lots of hail damage) We are putting the GTI hood, lights, grill and the upper bumper skin on Zippy today! Panzer did a great job cutting it up to fit with ease in the back of my truck :thumb

Took it to the local scrap yard. It was 540lbs. We received......wait for it...... A whole whopping $18 :ermm: Boy! metal sure has taken a nose dive :shake They sure do like to :screw Ya! But what the hell at least we got it out of the side yard of Panzer's house. Now on to Zippy, and the Black 89.

wow thats almost exactly what i got for the white RHD metro. your thing there looks like its some sort of exotic import all sliced up in a small shipping container ready to be assembled by a die hard fan of said car.

Yah, I was amazed at the skill it took to cut the car apart with just a Sawzall. Panzer is the man :thumb

Sorry, but the passenger side was a broken mess and the driver side had a red metro door with the stock manual mirror.
