I had been after some of the 12 hole hubcaps for a while this past year and didn't want to spend $90 bucks on a set from eBay. So I found a pretty rough set from a forum member for $10 plus shipping. I had to clean them sand them a bunch! On wig them I tried some red bondo on it to fill ALL the scuffs, dings and gouges - one had clearly fallen off while driving or been used as a frisbee. I used some Aluminum color paint from AutoZone and use use it again. Turned out pretty good for my first run at it. Found decals on eBay and they're ready to roll :rocker Probably ended up spending $45-50 and about 3 hours or so.

Big improvement! :thumb

You might want to get some clear over it to keep the paint looking nice for a while. I did mine about a year ago without clear, then redid them recently with clear and it makes a big difference.

my recommended clear coat for your wheel covers. it's a 2 part epoxy paint with a special nozzle.
