This may seem silly but when I replaced the head gasket on my 1996 Geo metro 4 door sedan 1.3 I have an extra wire. The harness that crosses the engine at the cam sprocket has several wires including the a/c wire. There is a wire with a 90degree male connector. It is round like the one that fits a Ford selenoid switch terminal. If you know where it fits please let me know.

Oxygen sensor has 3 or 4 wires. This is a single. I never saw it hanging loose before. Does the power stering get a wire? It must not be too important. I drove the car and all seems ok. Thanks for the quick reply.

I also thought oil switch but it has a flat blade terminal and it is hooked up. Not to say give up but if I need to I can drive fifteen miles to look at one. The owner of that one can not get out to see it because of ad health.

Yes it has power steering. If the pump has a connection it is well hidden. I may have to remove pump to get to it.
