So I'm putting the car back together, and with my photos from disassembly, the FSM and the Haynes manual, I've done pretty well at figuring out how things go back... It's a 91 Sprint, and recently converted to manual transmission. But the brake pedal is clearly not mounted correctly and I'm not sure what I did wrong. And didn't discover it until the dash and seat were back in, of course. These two pictures show the "play" in the pedal from side to side: ![]() ![]() Obviously something is wrong. Here's a couple shots of the pedal mount, as best as I could: ![]() ![]() ![]() So, what am I missing? Any ideas welcome! |

Thew pedal pivots on a nylon bushing with a bolt through it. If you're lucky, the bolt is loose. If the bushing is shot you might have to take the whole assembly out again, not sure if you can get the bolt out with it mounted. |
