Self-Declared "Genious"

That Kodi thing doesn't sound good. Don't get me wrong, I love free stuff, and I have plenty of Limewire songs. More than anything, I just don't like technology. Lately, I've been paying for songs on iTunes. If it were just me, I'd only have an antenna and a converter box.

You can buy tv boxes with Kodi pre-installed. It's sometimes called "Android TV"

That's a LOT cheaper than the boxes I saw for sale at the State Fair. I just use Kodi on my Nexus tablet and found lotsa really great addons from surfing around. Then Chromecast it to my TV.

Basically any device can use Kodi. I have it on a PC, android, fire stick and they all work fine.

Kodi sounds pretty cool, but what about that whole "pay a fine, go to jail" thing? :hmm

Good luck? It's legal to download copies of anything you own. So proving you are streaming something you don't own is tough.

Obama (or the current administration, not making this political) is/has tried to make illegal streaming a felony and being any part of it a misdemeanor.

I compare illegal streaming to something like recreational pot usage. Unless you're selling it or just plain stupid, you'll probably get away with it. It's also probably best to leave it at home and not bring it to work. :shit

Very well said. When I mentioned earlier it wasn't illegal to download and not upload, I meant not get caught.

They only pursue the people who are uploading(sharing) the downloaded stuff.

Set upload 0 kbps for life :bacon
