We can have this conversation all day long, but the simple fact is, they do in fact exist. You just have to know where to look.

It was a long time coming, but oh so worth it. Purrs like a kitten. I feel like I won the lottery. I can't tell you how amazing it is that the Geo Jedi will travel across the country with an engine of such quality and spend the time to help a brother get the thing installed properly, chasing down all issues that arise. Truly above and beyond the call of duty. He definitely doesn't do it for the money, I think he's losing money on the deal. He is a very generous guy and just must love seeing the joy his work brings to a person. Thank you so much for getting me on the road Obi Glenn Kenobi! (OK I'm not really a Star Wars nerd, but somehow it seems applicable). |

Congrats! I like the still wrapped install. Surgically clean with gloves to boot! And totally germ free with the radio active nuclear antiseptic! ![]() Curious though, is that a genuine 2 ring Xfi block? Maybe that was already answered. I can be a little slow, at times.

I could ask how much it cost but I wont. I am curious though. I am sure Glenn is no more unreasonable then anyone who rebuilds these professionally and he does have good contacts to get the engine machine work done. All he has to do is put the pieces together and I am sure he can do that as good as anyone can. He has been in the metro engine game long enough he should. I hope your car last long enough to make it all worth it. A video of it running would be exuberant. |

Beautiful motor there! I am sure it will serve you well, I cannot say enough good things about the motor Glenn did for me, and I got a heck of a deal for the amount of time and care he put into my project. |

I don't want to quote prices. It wasn't cheap, but it was more than reasonable. And the personal delivery and install was completely over the top above and beyond. Here's another little gem. There were several "upgrades" I declined due to cost. Glen. Did them anyway and didn't tell me. Why? Because I think he can't stand the thought of doing it the wrong way. I found out about at least one of these upgrades and insisted on paying him, because after all I was glad he did it in the end. But I'm sure there were others. And for the record, yes, it's a true XFi. This was unknown when I ordered it, even to Glenn. He was surprised but we checked the part numbers and they match. How fucking ecstatic do you think I was when I found out? I tell you, I was and am, feeling truly blessed. A video will be forthcoming, good copy on that. |

Welcome to the all new Geo Metro Forum. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Just got a text from Geo Glenn that he is headed my way with my new block and rebuilt head for the XFi. It seems like forever ago that I Effed up my engine with seafoam. That was August? I think? Anyways, will be sure to post some pics of the thing as it goes in. Been driving my truck all that time and will be happy to get the metro back on the road. As soon as that baby's running I'm selling my T100 if anyone's interested.
Enjoyed the pictures. Thanks.
