I am trying to get some ideas rolling for my 3way speaker setup for my swift. It is a 94. I am looking for pictures of door pods made for this generation. I am revamping my system with all new gear. So I'm doing the cs130. I tried to search but all that pops up is speaker adapters and what not.

Feel free to post pictures of your setup. Thanks for your help.

Still looking for some picture of installs. I know that in gonna have to do the 6.5" woofers in the lower front of the door panels. I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna take the mid and mount it up in front of the door handle then mount the tweeter in a pod up on the dash.

Sweet thanks man. Are you running a 2 way setup on your car? Are the pods for 6 1/2" woofers?

A 6.5" woofer IS a mid as far as I'm concerned.

I had a three way one time. I would not recommend it if you want to keep a steady relationship.

Now I have to figure out pods. I don't know if I want prefab pods or to make my own. Shopping for my speakers. I have my 4 and 6 channel amps together. Can't decide what speaker to get.

I made some door pods a few years ago, for a 3-way setup, with a set of JBL p6563c's. They still aren't finished by the way, didn't really get to it. I can post some pics later if you want.

Oh yeah. I think I made my decision on the speakers I want. I'm still trying to decide what rear speakers and what amplifiers to drive them with. If I bi amp the three wat I'm going to use my monster Sq eclipse. I'm still looking around for exactly how I'm going to setup all the speakers. I'm probably going to run the woofers in the lower front corners of the door. I may run the midrange in the door panel in front of the door handle. Then run the tweeters on the pillars. My friends Sq setup has his mid and tweets on the dash a pillar area.

Do you have a picture of the completed set up? How did you mount the pod? You replace the fiber board and refinish the door panel?

I don't have a finished setup yet, I made those pics yesterday :P They will simply be screwed onto the door panel, after I finished them with something like paint or pleather.

Sorry I'm late to the party. I have a 4 way arrangement in my Vert. I'm using a 4 channel amp to drive it. I'm using the passive crossover for the mid-low, mid, highs, and the crossover in the amp for the sub. Using a custom made dual 6" sub, 5x7's in custom made door pods, 4" mid's in the stock dash location, external tweeters setting on top of the dash next to the mids. Yes that is my "fronts", currently running 11 separate speakers and 7 channels of amplification. Looking at doing the CS130 alternator upgrade this summer. To take it to the next level of obscurity, considering picking up two additional 12" subs making a total of three. Planning to just use my trunk as my sub box. By the way love the speaker pod design. B-)
